Purgatory Ski Team’s summer Camp at Mt. Hood is a great opportunity to get 8 quality days on snow. We see huge improvements in skiing fundamentals in these 8 days on snow. The
environment is a large part of the accelerated improvements. We train alongside U.S. Ski Team athletes, college athletes, and many teams from around the nation. The training focuses on fundamental improvements with a Slalom progression of 4 days and a GS progression of 4 days. There is world class biking in the area including sandy ridge trail system that we take advantage of in the afternoons.
Dry-land activities are mixed in when we aren’t biking, hiking,
fishing, etc. This time of year is also a great opportunity to test gear from all of the major brands to figure out what skis and boots are best for your athlete. This testing is all free of charge. We have a very affordable price structure that includes all expenses including travel,
food, lodging, lift tickets, training lanes, adventure park day, camping nights to and from.
Cost for the camp is around $1,998. This will depend on how many athletes we have to spread lodging and travel costs. We are happy to offer 3 month financing on the camp to help spread the cost out.

Travel and Training Schedule
June 9 - 7:00am Departure from Chapman Hill - 5pm arrive at Three Islands State Park camping.
June 10 - 10am departure, arrive in Government Camp 5:00pm, unload and settle in, 6:30pm active stretching before dinner. Discussion on the training schedule and goals after dinner.
June 11-14 - SL progression
June 15 - Off day, adventure park afternoon
June 16-19 - GS progression
June 19 - Departure after training and drive to Three Islands State Park
June 20 - 9:00am departure - Arrive in Durango around 7:00pm
General Daily Training Schedule
7:00am - Lift load
11:45am - Training concludes
12:00-1:00pm - Lunch and video
1:00-130pm - Demo shops
1:30-4:00pm - activities (biking, hiking, river, soccer, ultimate frisbee, pool, etc.)
4:00-5:00pm - Lessons every other day - Sports psychology, nutrition, tuning clinic, gear management.
6:30pm - Dinner
9:00pm- Lights out
