2011/2012 Season

The “Devo” program allows younger or less advanced athletes to gain appreciation for all disciplines of snowboarding.  The “Devo” Team will participate in on-snow training on Saturday’s only.  This program is specifically designed for folks who may not desire to openly compete in competitions, or folks who want to explore/enhance their snowboarding skills and see what is involved in snowboard competitions.  Participants of this program will be exposed to Freeride, Boardercross, Park & Pipe, and other snowboard disciplines.   Participants on this team will be able to explore these different disciplines of snowboarding and find the discipline(s) that truly interest them.  Participants of this program should be able to board on a blue run, linking turns while exhibiting good speed control.

Ages: 8 – 15

On Snow Training (Jan 7th – March 3rd, DMR):
8 Sessions – All Day Saturdays
No Training on Presidents Day Weekend!

Work Deposit: None

IMPORTANT CHANGE: As of November 8th, 2011, Athletes are NO LONGER required to obtain a license or join the USSA organization to be members of the Purgatory Ski & Snowboard Team. Athletes will have to join USSA ONLY if they compete in an USSA event or competition.

Costs:
2011/2012 Tuition – $350 (Price Reduced!)
2011/2012 Spring Camp – $100 (optional)
