2012/2013 Season
The Park & Pipe program encompasses all of the terrain park disciplines including slopestyle and half-pipe. An emphasis is placed on jumping and safety as athletes learn to use the terrain park.
Focus will be on USASA and USSA competition. Participation in the travel squad is required for athletes participating at away events.
Tuition costs include one holiday camp.
Holiday camp is free to Park & Pipe team members and cannot be deducted from tuition cost.
Chapman Hill training is included in the tuition fee.
Additional fees will include travel, lodging and lift tickets at away events and event entry fees.
Tuition does not include dry land/gymnastics training (see below).

On Snow Training (DMR)(Dec – April, 2013):
1/2 day Saturdays and 1/2 day Sundays
On Snow Training (Chapman)(Jan – Mar, 2013):
Tuesday and Thursday Nights 5:15 – 6:45pm
Dryland Training (Oct 8th – Nov 19th, 2012):
A blend of trampoline, gymnastics, core strengthening.

Work Deposit: $150
IMPORTANT CHANGE: As of November 8th, 2011, Athletes are NO LONGER required to obtain a license or join the USSA organization to be members of the Purgatory Ski & Snowboard Team. Athletes will have to join USSA ONLY if they compete in an USSA event or competition.
Memberships:
ONLY Athletes who participate in USSA Events & Competitions will be required to join the United States Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA). The USSA is the national governing body for US Olympic skiing and snowboarding, and the parent organization for the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. They are paired together with the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and share governance in selection of athletes to the National U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams. The Purgatory Ski Team is a proud member and sponsor of the USSA organization.
Athletes age 12 and under will need to apply for a Rocky Mountain Division Freestyle youth membership. ($80)
Athletes age 13 and over will require a Rocky Mountain Division Freestyle Competitor membership. ($215)

United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) – ONLY Athletes who compete in USASA sponsored events will be required to join the USASA. There are different “levels” of membership varying from 1-day to full season. Information for joining USASA can be found here.

2012/2013 Tuition – $850
2012/2013 Work Depost – $150 (refundable)
2012/2013 Dryland – $75 Part Time
2012/2013 Chapman – Included in Tuition, will need to purchase Chapman hill pass – Approx $50
2012/2013 Holiday/Spring Camp -

2012/2013 USSA Membership -
Athletes 12 and under: $80 (includes Rocky Mountain dues)
Athletes 13 and older: $215 (includes Rocky Mountain dues)
2012/2013 USASA Membership – Approx $25 – $75 (Price depends on membership type)(Required to compete w/USASA)
2012/2013 Estimated Travel fees: $200 for 2 events, USASA Nationals TBD
2012/2013 USSA Event Fees: $40 – $50 per day
2012/2013 USASA Event Fees: $35 per day
